Ross Notary Services is the creation of Tara Ross, a lawyer and Notary Public in and for the Province of Ontario.

Located in Highland Creek, Ross Notary Services provides services in the following geographical areas:

From certifying true copies of your original documents to administering your oath on an affidavit, we provide professional and comprehensive notary and commissioner services for all your needs. We also provide remote (online) commissioning of affidavits and statutory declarations.

All appointments are booked online. Simply select a service, use our handy booking tool to request an appointment and we will contact you to confirm and advise of next steps.

Notary Services are provided pursuant to the Notaries Act, the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act, the Evidence Act and the Law Society of Ontario's Rules of Professional Conduct.

Document Notarizing/
Certifying True Copies

Notarizing a document involves witnessing a signature and confirming the authenticity of the document and generally requires an in-person appointment.

Commissioning Affidavits or
Statutory Declarations

Commissioning an affidavit or statutory declaration involves administering an oath or affirmation that the contents of the affidavit/statutory declaration is true. These appointments are available online (virtually) or in-person.

Signature Witnessing

When an individual signs a document in the presence of a notary public, the notary acts as an impartial witness who verifies the identity of the signer, ensures that the person is signing willingly, and confirms that the document is legitimate and binding.
